Hi! My name is Emma. I'm 13 years old and live in Muskingum County, Ohio. This summer I am traveling to South Dakota to serve with HXP, a nonprofit organization focused on changing people's lives. During my trip, I will be working on the Pine Ridge Reservation alongside local teams who are focused on metal health support and suicide prevention. The Pine Ridge community faces many challenges, including very high rates of youth suicide, and the work being done there centers on creating safe spaces, building hope, and strengthening emotional well-being and resilience.Â
To fund the trip, I need to raise about $3,000. These funds will cover my travel costs, housing, and food for the 10 days that I am there. And that is why I'm Baking for Good!
Here is how it works:
Every week I am Baking for Good! You can place your orders through the online form linked above.
All orders need to be placed by Wednesdayfor delivery or pickup on Friday or Saturday (my parents help me with the deliveries so sometimes I need some flexibility on delivery times)
You don't have to worry about payment until you receive your baked goods. Payment can be cash, check, or Venmo (through my parents, upon request...just note it on the order form).
If you would like to support me but are too far away for delivery, I can bake items to be delivered to our local soup kitchen (Christ's Table) on your behalf.
All of the funds that I earn go directly to funding my service trip. If you are able, I would love your support and promise you will love my baked goods!
